ELECTION OF A CHAIR FOR CIVIC YEAR 2025-26
Decision:
Councillors Dominic Griffiths and David Barnard were proposed and seconded as Chair. However, following a vote, neither nominated candidate was successful.
The Committee, Member and Scrutiny Manager advised that the election of the Chair would therefore take place at the next meeting of the Southern Rural Community Forum.
Minutes:
Councillor Louise Peace proposed Councillor Dominic Griffiths for Chair of Southern Rural Community Forum. This was seconded by Councillor Lisa Nash.
Councillor Ralph Muncer nominated Councillor David Barnard for Chair of Southern Rural Community Forum. This was seconded by Councillor Steven Patmore.
Following a vote, neither nominated candidate was successful.
The Committee, Member and Scrutiny Manager advised that the election of the Chair would therefore take place at the next meeting of the Southern Rural Community Forum.
