The Council is committed to meeting the
expectations of the Government's Environmental Improvement Plan
2023, and although we are required to revoke the existing two Air
Quality Management Areas due to the continued good air quality, the
Council is being asked to consider which option would be the most
appropriate in allowing us to meet our obligations under section 82
or the Environment Act, 1995.
